Fall Class update:
3rd and 4th graders from Longfellow Elementary completed a 9-week after school Acting Class, culminating in a performance for families on November 16. Congratulations students. We had a great show! Thanks to Chuck McKenna, Sally Tameler, and Brandy Coscarella.

Summer 2017: Thank you for an amazing and creative Summer 2017!

Salida Children’s PopUp Museum at ArtWalk 2017!  Thank you for participating in a museum-like experience for children, families, and art lovers.  Our exhibit featured images from The Metropolitan Museum of Art and other classic collections,  hands-on art activities, mini galleries- a different theme in each room, and creative resources for families such as museum guides, and multicultural books. Thank you for visiting!

Thank you for a wonderful Happy Chinese New Year celebration! Thanks in part to a grant by Salida Council for the Arts as well as The Conundrum Group, LLP, High Country Bank, and Liz Petersen State Farm Insurance, Salida Creativity Lab presented a Chinese New Year parade and community celebration. Over 200 students participated in an arts and movement project culminating in a parade for the community at Longfellow Elementary on February 4, 2017.  Thank you to students and teachers from Children’s Discovery Ranch, Longfellow Elementary, and Salida Montessori Charter School for your creative work and participation in our first Chinese New Year parade!
