Salida Children’s PopUp Museum at ArtWalk 2017!  Join us for a museum-like experience for children, families, and art lovers. Exhibit featuring images from The Metropolitan Museum of Art and other classic collections,  hands-on art activities, and creative resources for families such as museum guides, and multicultural books. Visit the mini galleries- a different theme in each room. Come and explore! FREE!

Ongoing Spring 2017: Drama and fun at Salida Montessori Charter School. Students are developing acting and performance skills in weekly classes for Toddlers through 8th grade. Gardening unit at Children’s Discovery Ranch, we are planting a garden!

Thank you for a wonderful Happy Chinese New Year celebration! Thanks in part to a grant by Salida Council for the Arts as well as The Conundrum Group, LLP, High Country Bank, and Liz Petersen State Farm Insurance, Salida Creativity Lab presented a Chinese New Year parade and community celebration. Over 200 students participated in an arts and movement project culminating in a parade for the community at Longfellow Elementary on February 4, 2017.  Thank you to students and teachers from Children’s Discovery Ranch, Longfellow Elementary, and Salida Montessori Charter School for your creative work and participation in our first Chinese New Year parade!
